Registration

Students

Registration for the 2018-19 school year is as follows:

  • August 8, 9:00 a.m. | Returning Seniors A-K
  • August 8, 12:00 p.m. | Returning Seniors L-Z
  • August 9, 9:00 a.m. | Returning Juniors
  • August 9, 12:00 p.m. | Returning Sophomores
 
Orientation for High school/Middle school single course students from brick and mortar high schools: August 14th 8:30 a.m.

Students who apply and are accepted for admission after August 9 will not be scheduled to attend until September 4.

Upon a student's initial enrollment, students are expected to attend ALL orientation sessions that are held for the first two (2) weeks of attendance  from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and then daily (at a time of their choosing) for the remainder of their enrollment at SVOGA.  Provided a student completes the orientation period in good standing, a students will have the opportunity to receive a .25 elective credit for their participation.  Failure of a student to complete the orientation process and pass the final exam will result in a student's immediate withdrawal from SVOGA.

PARENTS

A parent/guardian is REQUIRED to attend the an Information Evening AND the individual interview to discuss enrollment.

Once a student is accepted, individual parent/student/teacher conferences will be scheduled as needed to discuss student progress and attendance.  Both the student and parent/guardian are REQUIRED to attend a requested conference.

All parents/guardians are invited to attend parent/teacher conferences in the September and March (dates and times are available on the home page during those months).  Parent/Guardians are encouraged to contact their student's mentor at any time with questions, concerns, or updates on grades and progress.

All parents and students are encouraged to attend the FIRESIDE CHATS for their grade level.  Fireside Chats begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. per the following schedule:
