I'm Scott Bergamo, SVOGA counselor, and I'm excited to be part of this new frontier in education and the exciting educational opportunities online learning provides students of all learning styles, abilities, and academic interests.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and teaching certification from the University of Colorado at Boulder. I also earned a Masters Degree in Teaching from Grand Canyon University and a Masters Degree in School Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I'm beginning my 31st year with the St. Vrain Valley School District where I've taught social studies at Heritage Middle and Skyline High Schools for 12 years and served as a high school counselor at Skyline and Longmont High Schools for the past 11 years before joining St. Vrain Online Global Academy in May, 2011.
Our goal at St. Vrain Online Global Academy is to tailor an individual educational experience for each of our students to build on their academic strengths, help them prepare for college and career goals, and develop into life-long learners. We believe each of our students has an unlimited ability and capacity for learning, achieving, and being a successful contributor and citizen in the technologically changing world of the 21st Century.
